Champagne Shine Duo - Review Nails Inc

Hello, it’s Summer and at last some Sunny Weather in UK☀️
I’m hoping you’ll enjoy the Polishes I have for review over the next few posts.
I was so excited to see Nails Inc had released more Dazzling Duos for us to enjoy after last years success with the popular ‘Sparkle Like A Unicorn’ Duo. I reviewed here...

I dived straight in and ordered a few pretty sets priced at £15 each, well how could a girl resist!
I’m starting today with The Champagne Shine Duo.

First up is ‘FIZZ-ICAL’.
Now I just LOVE Nails Inc Rounded Brush, my nails are slim so I can get away with 1-2 strokes! Best brush ever...
I applied 2 coats which offered a nice opacity.
Iridescent flips of Peach Pink/Gold and in some light Metallic Orangey Yellow/Gold.
Not my usual choice of colour, though I like this lots.
There is a presence of micro air bubbles! My Fault...

The next polish is ‘Straight to My Head’!
Again I applied 2 coats which gave me a lovely opaque finish.
I’m totally in love with this Classy Nude/Sandy Shade. With a multitude of glistening holos in lots of stunning rainbow hues that everyone will adore.
It’s certainly popped my cork, straight into my Top 10 all time favourite polishes.

Base Coat - OPI Nail Envy
Top Coat - Seche Vite

I hope you love this duo, there’s another beauty coming soon.

Bunny Nails - Stamping

Hi, I hope you all had a Happy Easter & Bank Holiday.
I was a little late with my Easter nails because my original design which involved the reverse stamping technique didn’t come out as planned!
I’m still finding stamping can be a bit hit & miss, which is really disappointing when you plan out a design, make decals (which takes me ages) just for it to turn out a mess...

Anyway onwards and upwards I went for a simple design which was just plain stamping and it worked, phew!
I Love Bunnies🐰 & PinkπŸ’•

I started with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy.
I used White Knight by Moyou London on forefinger & pinky. This is 2 coats, it has great opacity being a stamping polish and I found it quick to dry.
Next I applied Woke up in Wonderland by Nails Inc on middle & ring fingers. This is 2 coats, it’s a dream to apply with the wide rounded brush. The shine is outstanding, but most of all I love the yum yum bubblegum like shade.

Onto the stamping...
Using Moyou Nails Stamper & Scraper...
I Stamped over the Pink nails with White Knight by Moyou London.
To stamp over the White Nails I used Apartment for Two by OPI, it’s a slightly darker pink and was more visible.
Stamping Plate is from Moyou Nails 457 Easter. As you’ll see from the photo, there’s lots of gorgeous images on this little plate. It’s suitable during Spring/Summer too with there being flowers in pots and watering cans, little hearts, grass etc
I used a very fine dotting tool to make the bunnies eyes.
Finished with a Top Coat of Seche Vite!

So, I hope you like this cute little mani.
Maybe I’ll master the art of making decals soon haha.

Love

Month of LOVE πŸ’—

The Month of Love

Hi All,
So February is more than halfway through, I hope everyone enjoyed Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day. I didn’t do anything to celebrate it, although My Mr & I did exchange gifts this year. I received a Beautiful Set of 3 Yankee Candles which I’ve been eyeing up for ages, very very happy girl!

Onto nails, I love pale pink colours on my nails and decided on a base colour of OPI's Let’s Be Friends from the Hello Kitty - Collectors Edition.
It’s subtle, feminine & romantic, the perfect background for some stamping I had in mind...
I started with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy Original.
Followed by 3 coats of Let’s Be Friends. With the shade being so pale, this amount of coats was required to gain full opacity.
Wait until each coat is touch dry before applying the next.
I finished with a Top Coat of Seche Vite.

Valentine’s Day Nails πŸ’—
I left the stamping until the following day, with Let’s Be Friends as the base.
I Stamped over with Apartment for Two by OPI (Roses), Rose Gold by PS Nails Primark (Hearts).
Stamping Plates I used are from Clear Jelly Stamper CjSC-12, this is a Christmas Plate but has a few other images that can be used all year through.
It’s a layered plate which means you add layers to your image as I have with the hearts. First I picked up the Rose Gold Hearts and followed with the image of the outline in Pink.
Born Pretty Plate L029 has a lovely selection of flower patterns, I thought the Roses were spot on for Valentine’s!
Completed with a Top Coat of Seche Vite over the stamped nails and voila!

So I hope you like this design, I think it’s simple but pretty.
I’ll be back soon with more cuties. If there’s something in particular you’d like to see then please ask.
There’s lots of ways to contact me...

Catch A Dream - My return to blogging!

Welcome to my 1st post of 2018!

Thank you! I’ve reached 10,000 views. Fan-Flipping-Tastic, it’s all down to you lovely people who have supported me in my first 18 months of Blogging. I’m very grateful indeed and to show my appreciation I’ll be hosting a giveaway very soon...

It’s been 6 months since I last wrote, I’ve been suffering lots of pain due to deteriorating orthopaedic problems. To top that off my memory has began to let me down badly, this is from the medications I take.
I’ve started to write on numerous occasions, only to be stuck with words, not knowing what to write, then scrapped it. Even replying to a text some days has been ridiculously confusing.

Well now I’m back, positive and determined to blog as often as my body & mind will allow, even if the posts are short and sweet I’m sure I will get a great feeling of having achieved their completion.

I would like to gradually catch up on the Manis missed during my break as well as new creations. If you’re a follower on my Instagram you may have seen some of them.
I’m going to start with one of my favourites from the beginning of November.

‘Catch A Dream’
Base Coat - OPI Nail Envy Original.
I started with a black base using OPI Lady in Black x 2 coats.
I added Born Pretty Chameleon Flakies (#39759). I’ve been itching to try these!
Advice when you lift the inner lid, do it carefully and don’t breathe too heavy, they go everywhere. I applied using the eye makeup sponge that came in the pack. Add as many or as little as you like for lots of different effects.
The Dream Catcher nail sticker come on a sheet of varying designs from Born Pretty (#41137).
I think it gives a completed look to the mani.
Top Coat - Seche Vite.

I hope you like the design, it was fun to create and not too difficult.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I’ll be back soon lovelies,
