Nails Inc - Clarence Avenue Multivitamin

Hi Ladies, for today's manicure I'm using one of my favourite brands, Nails Inc.
I was introduced to Nails Inc after accidentally coming across a Today's Special Value on QVC UK.
I had never spent so much on nail polish before, only ever picking up the odd bottle every 6 months or so from a supermarket or chemist. How things have changed!

I could tell the difference immediately, My nails had the smoothest, glossiest finish I had ever seen. Nails Inc looked great and lasted! I was hooked, this was the start of my love for Nail Polish.

I have chose Clarence Avenue - Multivitamin.
This is the first time I've used this Deep Purple Shade.

The silver top on the bottle lifts off to reveal a smaller round cap, easy to work with. The brush is wide, with a rounded end, it delivers the perfect shape around the cuticles, less mess, quicker cleanup.
The formula paints on perfectly, not too thick or thin, you can almost get away with one coat! I used 2 coats because I wanted a darker look with full opacity.
This manicure lasted around 7 days without signs of wear.
I'm happy with that!

The formula of multivitamins is enriched with a complex of Vitamin B5, C and E,  it has the ability to stimulate advanced keratin production, hydrate and nourish, which promotes healthy nails. It also features Nails inc’s patented Regenerating Complex (a two-fold Aldehyde, Zinc and Calcium blend), that aids harder, stronger nails.

Base Coat - Nails Inc Nailkale
Top Coat - Seche Vite

Have you tried any of Nails Inc Superfood Polishes or Treatments?
What did you think? I look forward to hearing your experiences.

Gingerbread - Barry M Limited Edition

Hello lovely ladies, it's been a while since my last post, mainly due to illness. I had so many plans for New Years Day and My Christmas Presents, but just couldn't get the motivation between pills & sleep. Now 2017 is in full swing and I have some major catching up to do.

My first Mani of the year is Gingerbread a Limited Edition by Barry M exclusively for Superdrug.
This came as a duo with Icicle, a Holographic Glitter that would work well on its own or as a Top Coat. They are presented in the sweetest of boxes, a small pink house... You couldn't fail to love it!
Here comes the bad news, it was a free gift when spending over £7 on Barry M products. Unfortunately this offer has now finished, however if you really love the look of this set keep a look out on eBay!

Gingerbread is a Warm Copper Shimmer Polish, I found to be a thin formula, easy to apply and quick drying. I used 2 coats but if you desire an increased opaque look you could easily build up extra coats without it looking too thick.
This polish has excellent longevity, I removed after 10 days, there was no wear or chips, it looked as good as the day it was first applied.
I can't wait to try out some more similar textures of Barry M. Top Banana! Ha do they still say that...

Base Coat - OPI Nail Envy Original
Top Coat - Leighton Denny Crystal Finish

So that's one down, next coming real soon...
My Nail Painting Mojo is BACK!!!

Sending Love & Wishes of Good Health for 2017

Pink Diamonds by Makeup Gallery

Only 3 sleeps till Santa 🎅🏼
I'm so excited, I have a few small gifts to wrap for my daughter, then just sit back and wait!

Today I'm writing about a budget brand of makeup, let's step to it...

Pink Diamonds by Makeup Gallery - Time to Shine.
I love the Dazzling Feather effect from this Dot & Strand Holo Glitter.
Clear formula, the majority of the glitter is Cerise Pink strands with tiny dots of Pink & Holo.

Easy to apply, I used 2 thin coats over previous mani, OPI's Kitty White.
The end result makes the base of Kitty White look a bright silver chrome in certain lights.
Perfect Party Nails!

Natural Light
Artificial Light

About Makeup Gallery:-
They are Poundland's own Brand of Cosmetics retailing at ta dah yep just £1...
The Nail Range includes, Cuticle Oil, Nail Hardener, Top Coats in Gloss and Matte.
Lipstick, Mascara, Concealer, Eyeliner etc etc
I've only bought a few nail polishes, this being the first I've tried.
I'd give 5 Stars to Poundland for making beauty affordable!

Top Coat Leighton Denny - Crystal Finish

Have you tried any of this range of makeup? What are your thoughts?
I'm definitely going to try some other of their items soon.

Wishing you all a Magical Christmas

Sparkles & Chrome

Hi lovelies, another Festive Mani today! I simply can't resist the Glitters and Sparkles, let's be honest December is an excuse to go as crazy as you like with your nails!

Some of you may know that Models Own had a sale over the Black Friday weekend.
I took the opportunity to buy their HoloChrome Collection of Polishes in all 5 shades. I'll be writing about them soon.
I also bought a Chrome polish in Copper and a GlitterGel in Shade Crystal Pink. I've used them in today's mani.

Firstly I painted all nails except my ring finger in Chrome Copper. I didn't like the way it applied, it left lots of streaking and marks throughout!
On the ring fingers I used Moyou London - White Knight.
The 2nd coat of Chrome applied easier, however I couldn't get the smooth flawless finish I have seen in photos on Instagram! I was still left with some slight brush marks, hopefully I'll master the art of application the more I use this type of polish!
I found 2 coats of Copper Chrome and White Knight to be ample.
Next I painted 1 coat of GlitterGel onto the index nails. It's named Pink Crystal but looks more like Rose Gold to me, it's very pretty. Having said that, the Copper Chrome is much lighter than I expected, lovely all the same.
The stamping stage was a pain to say the least! I couldn't get the Chrome to pick up onto the stamper. So after many tries I opened a sweet little bauble gift I picked up in Primark a few weeks ago, containing a bottle of PS... Metallic Rose. It worked a flipping treat and saved the day!
Top Coat and Done...

Base Coat - OPI Nail Envy
Top Coat - Seche Vite

I hope your Sunday is a good one, see you soon.

Snow Flakes & Reindeer's - Stamping

Hey,
Hasn't it been a nasty few days! The winds have been horrendous here in Wales and oh so chilly.
My electric blanket is back on the bed and my staple clothing items are chunky jumpers and fluffy socks...

I decided to stamp a simple Christmas design over my last mani 'Sparkling Sapphire Skies!'
If you've read my previous posts you'll know I'm new to stamping, the practice is paying off, each one is a slight improvement.
I love the Reindeer's, aren't they cute! They were tricky to pick up, I kept finding missing legs or antlers lol it took numerous attempts and lots of swearing. Worth it though...

I used
Born Pretty - Round Plate BP01
Moyou London - White Knight
Leighton Denny - Sapphire Skies
Top Coat - Seche Vite

Hope you likey :-)
